A classroom without walls

Blue Iris Farm offers educational field trips for schools, homeschool co-ops, and youth groups. Students meet our rescued goats, horses, pigs, donkeys, rabbits, and birds — learning about animal care, rescue, and the importance of treating all living things with compassion.

Each visit is guided by our team and tailored to your group's age and interests. We cover topics including animal behavior, farm ecosystems, nutrition, and the stories behind each rescued animal. Students are encouraged to ask questions, interact with the animals (where safe), and connect with nature in a meaningful way.

Field trips are available for K–12 students and homeschool groups. All visits are by reservation only.
